Sales of the TAXAN PS Series begin:
At 2,500lm, the world's smallest 2.9L/1.8kg Wireless,
"PC-less" presentation function model debuts

Kaga Components Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Kaga Electronics Co., Ltd. (www.kgcompo.co.jp, 2-2-9 Hongo, Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) will begin sales in March 2007 of the PS Series, its second line of projectors under the Kaga Electronics group brand TAXAN.
The TAXAN PS Series will consist of three models, the KG-PS100S, KG-PS120X and KG-PS125X, featuring Texas Instruments Corp.'s DLP® projection method based on TI's DLP® technology. The KG-PS100S features SVGA resolution, while the KG-PS120X and KG-PS125X are XGA models. At 2.9L, all three are the smallest models in the world capable of projecting at 2,500lm.*
Also, the KG-PS125X features an image viewer with wireless function that makes "PC-less" presentations possible. And all models in the PS Series include a quick-start function enabling rapid presentation prep, auto-keystone correction and other usability features that make ease of use at the top priority.

Main features
- World's smallest 2,500lm projector
Compact, light 2.9L, 1.8kg body generating 2,500lm-- more than bright enough - Wireless presentation function (KG-PS125X)
SD wireless LAN card is included as standard equipment for wireless presentation capability. No cumbersome RGB cable connection required, reducing space limitations. - Image viewer enabling "PC-less" presentation (KG-PS125X)
Equipped with a USB port and SD Card slot, it can project stored images directly off of USB flash memory or SD Memory Cards freeing presentations from the computer. - Improved ACW technology makes for even better colour reproduction
ACW (Advanced Colour Wheel) technology featuring colour wheel improvements that greatly improve colour reproduction has been made even better with software control, and it produces much crisper images than those of conventional projectors. - Quick-start, shutoff functions
Projection can begin approximately 18 seconds after power is turned on. And a quick-off function operates the cooling fan even if the power cord is removed immediately after the power switch is turned off after the presentation, making quick finish possible and speedy presentations even easier. - Auto keystone correction function
Automatic correction for vertical distortion is made approximately three seconds after projection begins.
