Projector Connections

Answers

Q.
Can I connect from a Mac computer?

A.
Yes. Data for presentation can be provided from any personal computer having an analogue RGB output or a DVI-I output connector. An adapter is necessary if the output connector of the personal computer differs from the projector input connector.

Q.
Is it possible to use a desktop PC?

A.
Yes. If the desktop PC has only one display output connector, or when connecting to a projector that does not have an RGB output connector, and connections must be made to a display, a splitter will need to be obtained separately.

Q.
Nothing is showing on the screen.

A.
Different PC makes and models have different ways of switching output to an outside display device so please check your computer manual. If there is no image even after connecting to the PC and switching the display, it is possible that the external display (projector) was not recognised when the PC started up. Reboot the PC with the projector still connected and then switch over the display output.

Q.
Can I project data from a digital camera, video or DVD player?

A.
Yes. Connect the digital camera or player to the video input or S-video input on the projector. To make this connection, either the cable provided with the digital camera or player may be used or a cable may need to be purchased separately.

Q.
Can the projector be mounted permanently on the ceiling?

A.
Fixed mounting is possible for all models apart from V-339.

Q.
Can you supply longer cables?

A.
Unfortunately we can not help with this; however these can be obtained from the reseller who originally sold the machine.
